The Assises Face et Cou conference is a major event for professionals to share knowledge and innovation in ENT, audiology, and hearing aids. From January 22 to 24, 2026, experts from the Reconnect Institute gathered in Cannes among a community of committed specialists, shared their experiences and the latest advances in these fields. As every year, this event focus on innovation, the sharing best practices, and discussion.

Once again this year, many experts will be present and will speak at the organized sessions, including Guillaume Andéol, Paul Avan, Hannah Daoudi, Charlotte Hautefort, Yann Nguyen, Ghizlene Lahlou, Natalie Loundon, Hung Thai-Van, Sean Sheppard, Peggy Gatignol, Didier Bouccara, Arnaud Coez, Françoise Denoyelle, Isabelle Mosnier, all of whom contribute to the scientific and clinical richness of the event.

The program includes specialized workshops, interactive clinical cases, expert masterclasses, and, above all, debates.

Among the key highlights, several experts from the reConnect Institute shared their work. Hannah Daoudi, together with Yann Nguyen and Sean Sheppard, lead a clinical otology session based on tympanic membrane images. Ghizlene Lahlou presented advances in intracochlear drug delivery, a pivotal topic for future gene therapies for hearing loss. Natalie Loundon conducted a workshop for hearing-care professionals on preserving OAEs in auditory neuropathies, linked to hearing-aid fitting and cochlear vulnerability. Finally, Didier Bouccara, alongside Dr Sandra Zaouche, addressed the potential otological effects of the COVID-19 vaccine and their implications in the context of forensic evaluations.
