In certain situations, treatment may benefit from the multidisciplinary environment of the Institute, with support from other specialties, particularly neurology and neurosurgery.
In some cases, surgical intervention will be proposed, especially if the ossicular chain or eardrum is affected by chronic otitis, cholesteatoma or otosclerosis.
Tinnitus is often complex and will require multidisciplinary treatment, sometimes involving medication, sound therapy or relaxation techniques.
