2024 Activity Report

The first activity report from the reConnect Institute, a foundation under the aegis of the Institut Pasteur, is now available!

This report highlights the achievements and current and future projects for this first year since its creation.

You will find testimonials from members of the management team, Anne-Lise Giraud, Claire Paquet, and Yann Nguyen, as well as from Norbert Krief, guitarist and founder of the band Trust, and Thomas Dutronc, patron of the reConnect Institute, who share their experiences and their vision for the future of hearing health.

Key information for this year

• The creation and launch of the reConnect Institute, a foundation under the aegis of the Institut Pasteur

• The start of the Audiogene clinical trial, the first gene therapy for deafness in France, bringing together the Hearing Institute, a research center of the Institut Pasteur, the ENT department and the Pediatric Audiology Research Center at Necker-Enfants malades AP-HP Hospital, as well as Sensorion and the Fondation Pour l'Audition

• 42 translational research projects were conducted and 294 new patients were included in our cohorts
