Call for Proposals Opened for the Creation of a New Research Team

The reConnect Institute is taking another step forward by issuing a call for applications to establish a new research team dedicated to innovative treatments for hearing loss.

This team will contribute to the development of new therapeutic approaches for hearing and balance disorders. Applications focusing on gene, cell, or pharmacological therapies; biomarker discovery; translational genomics; the molecular mechanisms of inner ear disorders; or innovative technologies applied to these diseases are particularly encouraged.

The successful candidate will join theHearing Institute Bastille Campus (12th arrondissement, Paris)—a research ecosystem that benefits from close collaboration with clinical teams, technology platforms, and academic partners. This environment fosters the development of interdisciplinary projects.

Interested researchers are invited to express their interest byAugust 15, 2026, by submitting a resume and a cover letter. Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to submit a complete scientific proposal.

Through this call for proposals, the reConnect Institute is continuing to evolve by reinforcing its mission: to make therapeutic innovation a major focus of its scientific program. All of this is aimed at ensuring a transition from today’s compensatory medicine toward the development of innovative regenerative therapies.
