Villa M awards one of its research grants to Diego Bletry

Diego Bletry, a medicine resident currently working on his PhD at the Central Auditory Circuit Plasticity Laboratory led Nicolas Michalski and Mathieu Rodero (Paris Cité University), has been awarded a Villa M research grant worth €10,000. His research project focuses on the role of the NLRP3 inflammasome in form of deafness.
This research is being conducted as part of the INFLAMME University Hospital Federation (FHU), which aims to decrypt the mechanisms of inflammation when unknown origin, in this very case, the monogenic causes of deafness.
